Google Wallet : Making Your Phone Your Wallet

Credit card,Debit card, Travel card, food card..whew..!! It never ends...Google has a innovative app which can be termed as a cool app to manage your wallet. Termed as 'Google Wallet' is a mobile app, it will do more than a regular wallet ever could. You'll be able to store your credit cards, offers, loyalty cards and gift cards, but without the bulk. When you tap to pay, your phone will also automatically redeem offers and earn loyalty points for you. Someday, even things like boarding passes, tickets, ID and keys could be stored in Google Wallet.Google is partnering with Citi, MasterCard, First Data and Sprint and merchants including Subway, Macy's, Walgreens and American Eagle Outfitters.

Together the services will work like this: Coupons for items you buy regularly will pop up on your phone, or an item that the store you're shopping at is out of will pop up on the phone and let you buy that item online. When you go to a store's cashier, you can wave your phone over a terminal, which will charge your card. Meanwhile your loyalty points with that merchant will be added to your phone. Eventually receipts will be delivered to your phone.

Google will begin initial field testing of Google Wallet in New York and San Francisco this summer
